I just wanted to write a letter to thank everyone that we encountered on our recent trip to Krakow and our Auschwitz – Birkenau tour. Escape To Poland have been helpful and professional every step of the way from the initial booking to being dropped at the airport for out flight home. The organisation of our trip was seamless, every e-mail I sent was immediately responded to. And when you said you would do something, it was done. This may seem obvious, but this is a rarity in your industry and it eased my mind when preparing to travel to a country I had never visited before. The man (I sadly didn’t catch his name) that picked us up from the airport was helpful, friendly and very informative of the local area. Not only this, we saw him in the 10 minute break of the Auschwitz tour and he remembered us and came over to ask if we were enjoying our trip. A most thoughtful and kind gesture. The recommended hotel was perfectly located, clean, friendly, professional and more than we could have hoped for. They gave us a wonderful suggestion for dinner and even provided us with a discount voucher for what was a very reasonably priced meal in the first place. The packed lunch provided for the tour was well prepared and more than we could manage. No expense was spared. The Auschwitz tour itself, was of course a difficult time, and I was very aware that I may struggle with this. Our guide was informative, and sensitive and I was very happy with the way she presented the tour. I believe the driver’s name was Marco (though I don’t think this is his full name – I think there is an ending I didn’t quite catch), anyway, we both appreciated his professionalism. He allowed us time to ponder on the atrocities we had just seen and contemplate the difficulty of the day. However, when we both needed a little cheering up, he was lovely, very friendly and in fact then offered to drive us to the airport for our return flight. At that point it was good to see a familiar face and I think he is a credit to your organisation. I have since recommended Escape To Poland to friends as I have been talking about the trip. Should I return to Poland or other destinations you are involved with, your site will be my first port of call. Your organisation made the logistics of a very difficult trip effortless, and all at a most affordable price. Thank you again.
